As a community organization, Durham Outlook for the Needy (DOFN) relies on over 900 volunteers each month to continue to provide meals to the homeless and needy in our area.
If you wish to help us by donating some of your time, please fill out an Volunteer Application Form below. It will assist us in placing you where your volunteering experience is rewarding to both you and the people we serve.
STUDENT VOLUNTEERS
Among these volunteers, we welcome and appreciate students from high school age and older to join us at any time of the year.
In addition to the Volunteer Application Form, students under 16 must be accompanied by a parent during their time of service. If your child is under 18 years old, we ask you fill out the Consent Form PDF available below prior to volunteering. The consent form must accompany the application form using the upload option at the time of applying. This form will then be attached to the student’s Volunteer Time Sheet.
