Regular Volunteer Shifts, Temporary Volunteer Shifts or On Call Volunteers: (This includes Students, Court Hours, People with Inconsistent Schedules)

Your duties while volunteering in the kitchen during the morning shift from 9am to 1pm Monday to Friday could include buttering buns, preparing cutlery, cutting desserts, sorting food, peeling vegetables, assisting the cook, sorting the bread shelf, washing, drying and putting away dishes, cleaning tables, sweeping or mopping floors, taking out the garbage and recycling. 

Volunteering in the kitchen from 3:30pm to 6:30pm Monday to Friday could include busing tables, scraping plates, serving tables, preparing coffee and tea, serving juice and water, dishing meals from the steam table, washing, drying and putting away dishes, cleaning tables, cleaning up your station before you leave.
