In a world where many people suffer alone from the difficult circumstances of life, such as poverty, homelessness, food insecurity and the issues that lead to these things, it is so heartening to know that there are partners and people in our community who believe in the same things we do at Durham Outlook: hope, patience, kindness and compassion that lead us to take action to help those in need with dignity. Your support and generosity are deeply appreciated and truly make a difference.
Your generous donations will mean that families with children, seniors, people with disabilities, and many others in need will be able to continue relying on vital daily meals and community within a kitchen that embodies both DOFN’s and your commitment to these values.
Someone has said that the Inuit of Canada’s North have over 100 words for snow. I wish there were that many for thank you, because I would use every one of them in this list thanking some of our major donors.
