Hello! My name is Mary Kay Boase. I have been involved with Durham Outlook for the Needy for over 17 years both as a regular volunteer, supervisor, and director on the Board. It was in trying to support my daughter find some volunteer work for her high school hours that first brought us to St. Vincent's Kitchen after I saw a notice in my church bulletin. She loved helping here, and I just kept coming and getting involved. Our kitchen serves a diverse range of people in need for many reasons, it is essential and neighbourly work which we strive to accomplish with care and dignity for our patrons. I have been part of the board since we started looking for an alternate site over 10 years ago, so one of the main objectives for me and for this present board, is to finally accomplish the opening of a new, fully accessible, welcoming building. Please help us get there.
