Linda is a retired educator; a mother of two, “Nanny” of nine, and great grandmother of a cherished wee girl; a proud and involved Whitby Sunrise Rotarian; and a decade-long volunteer with Durham Outlook for the Needy. 

Service to others has been a focus for over 30 years both locally and internationally, and serving on the DOFN Board of Directors provides her an opportunity to expand that reach, in a time when the need to help others is multiplying. Volunteering one’s skills, energy, and time is both fun and satisfying, and Linda looks forward to her role working with others in a new, outstanding Community Kitchen in Oshawa!
